What’s New: TherapyFuel Session Assist

We’re excited to introduce Session Assist, the newest addition to the TherapyFuel suite and your new session prep companion, now available in TherapyNotes and the TherapyNotes® Mobile App for TherapyFuel subscribers.

Session Assist helps clinicians prepare for upcoming individual therapy sessions more efficiently by pulling relevant details from recent progress notes and the current Treatment Plan into a concise pre-session summary. Depending on available content, summaries may include identified risks, a summary of the previous session plan, and a recent treatment summary. Designed to save time and make transitions between back-to-back sessions easier, Session Assist helps clinicians quickly review key clinical information before appointments.

In TherapyNotes, clinicians can view a Session Assist summary from the Notes tab of the Appointment dialog, with quick access also available via a link on the Agenda view.

In the TherapyNotes Mobile App, clinicians can access Session Assist from the Agenda tab by opening an eligible upcoming appointment and selecting View Session Assist from the Appointment Details, making it easy to prep for your session while on the go.

Session summaries become available up to 72 hours before the scheduled appointment and use only the logged-in clinician’s signed progress notes and current Treatment Plan, helping ensure the information remains personalized, relevant, and aligned with the clinician’s documentation workflow. To generate a summary, the clinician must have a signed progress note for the patient within the last 45 days.

For clinicians with access to TherapyFuel, the feature is enabled by default and can be managed from the TherapyFuel tab of the staff profile.
