What’s New: Updated Patient To-Do Tab and Expanded Clinician Types

Today we're continuing our rollout of updates across TherapyNotes®. In addition to the ongoing release of Custom Progress Notes, here are a few other improvements for you to be aware of.

Updated Patient To-Do Tab

We’ve refreshed the To-Do tab in each patient’s chart for a better organized, more consistent experience. It now mirrors your main To-Do Summary tab, displaying outstanding notes for the patient at the top, followed by Notes to Review (for Supervisors), with all other tasks neatly grouped below.

Expanded and Improved Clinician Types

We’ve made it easier to find the right match for your professional role and credentials. The Type of Clinician and Title fields now work together more smoothly behind the scenes, simplifying your selections as you set up and edit your clinical profile.

You’ll also notice the following updates to available Type of Clinician options:

• Other Service Provider was replaced with Other Behavioral Health Provider.
• Substance Abuse Counselor is now Substance Use Counselor.
• Other Service Provider (Coach or non-clinical provider) is now Other Health & Wellness Provider.

Custom Progress Notes Rollout Update

The new Custom Progress Notes functionality is now available to additional practices, with rollout to all practices expected by the end of the week. Check your Library page for the new Note Templates tab to see if the feature is now available to your practice. Visit our blog post to learn more about Custom Progress Notes.
