As with all maintenance releases, TherapyNotes® 2026.02 includes numerous system-wide improvements, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and usability adjustments. This release also includes additional features that will be announced and enabled next week. Here are some noteworthy updates available now.
We’ve improved ERA payment posting to more accurately match payments to the corresponding patients and services. Previously, minor differences such as slight variations in a patient’s name between the ERA and TherapyNotes, or multiple appointments on the same day with the same service code, required manual review. Now, when an ERA includes the unique TherapyNotes service line control identifier, the system uses that identifier to automatically match the payment to the correct appointment. The result is faster reconciliation, fewer manual adjustments, and a smoother ERA processing experience for your practice.

We’ve enhanced the Submit Electronic Claims and Submit Secondary Claims features to improve the accuracy and consistency of pending submission totals. Pending submission counters now update more reliably when claim statuses, payer information, or Primary Method selections change, ensuring counts remain accurate even when adjustments are made from different areas of the Billing workflow. With these improvements, submission totals reflect changes in real time, giving you a clearer and more dependable view of claims ready for submission.
