As with all maintenance releases, TherapyNotes® 2026.09 includes numerous system-wide improvements, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and usability adjustments. This release also includes additional features that will be announced and enabled in the coming weeks. Here are some noteworthy updates available now.
Direct Pay Superbills now make it clearer who is billing for a service. Supervisor information will only appear on the Superbill when a clinician is billing under their supervisor. Otherwise, the Superbill will show just the clinician’s information. This helps ensure the billing details on the Superbill match the clinician’s supervision setup, making it easier for patients to understand who provided and billed for their care.

We’ve improved the messages clinicians see when TherapyFuel® ReFuel can’t complete a request. Instead of showing the same general message for different types of unsupported instructions, ReFuel can now provide more specific guidance about what prevented the request from being completed and how to adjust your instructions. This makes it easier to understand what went wrong, revise your instructions, and try again with less guesswork.
