Maintenance Release 2025.05

By TherapyNotes, LLC on June 18, 2025

As with all maintenance releases, TherapyNotes® 2025.05 includes numerous system-wide improvements, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and usability adjustments. This release also introduces new features that will be announced and enabled over the next few weeks. In the meantime, here are some noteworthy updates available now.

Support for Preferred Names and Pronouns in Staff Profiles

We’ve added the ability to configure a preferred name and pronouns on staff user profiles. When a preferred name is entered, it will appear in most places throughout the system, making day-to-day interactions more personalized. Formal name will continue to display on document headers, signatures, and billing-related areas. Pronouns, if provided, will be shown on the Staff header and Staff User Information panel for easy reference.

Export Outcome Measure Scores from Insights

You can now export a patient’s score data from their Insights tab directly to Excel, based on the currently configured date range. This gives clinicians more flexibility to view, organize, and analyze scores outside of TherapyNotes. It also makes it easier to share score data with other providers, supervisors, or care teams when needed.

Enhanced Eligibility Report

The Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) report has been improved to make it easier to navigate and identify important details. The new layout includes:

  • Jump-to-section navigation for quicker access to each category

  • Report filters that let you narrow the report by common Mental Health categories and view in-network vs. out-of-network benefit information

  • Restructured Eligibility Request Details and Eligibility Benefit Information sections for a more modern and readable aesthetic

  • Clear visual indicators of policy status
