As with all maintenance releases, TherapyNotes® 2024.08 includes numerous system-wide improvements, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and usability adjustments. TherapyNotes® 2024.08 also includes additional new features that will be announced and enabled shortly. Below are some noteworthy improvements in today’s release.
Treatment Plans Now Sorted by Header Date
The date on the Patient Document Tab for treatment plans now displays the date from the note header rather than the last action taken, such as when the plan was signed. This change ensures a more consistent and accurate representation of the intended date in the document list.
Install TherapyNotes Web App for Quicker Access
We improved how to add TherapyNotes to your home screen or mobile device for quick and convenient access anywhere. For browsers like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, you’ll be notified that TherapyNotes is available for installation. For Safari, click on the share icon to add to your dock.
Once installed, you can launch TherapyNotes directly from the icon on your home screen, desktop, or app menu. TherapyNotes will open in a standalone browser window with all of the functionality you’re used to, providing an optimized user experience regardless of your screen size.
Vacation or Blackout Appointment Type Renamed to Unavailable
We’ve updated the name of the “Vacation or Blackout Period” appointment type to “Unavailable” for all prior and future appointments on your calendar.
Quick Access to Patient Phone Numbers in Telehealth
Telehealth users can now navigate to their schedule sidebar and hover over a patient's name to view additional patient details. This provides clinicians easy access to patient's date of birth, phone number, communication preferences, and comments while inside a telehealth call.
Updates to the Suffix Field on the Client Insurance Form
The Client Insurance Form now has a suffix field for the Policy Holder. The new field will have a list of default suffixes from which the patient may select or enter a value.
Other Enhancements
Back by popular request, times will be displayed for clinician and supervisor signatures.
To enhance security, we’ve expanded the list of file types that we block from being uploaded.
