The American Psychiatric Association revised several diagnostic codes within the DSM-5. For all appointments on October 1, 2016 or later, be sure to use the new codes.
We have already incorporated the code changes into the TherapyNotes integrated DSM-5 search. However, when you do a note for a patient that already has a diagnosis, the old codes will be copied forward. Be sure to update all diagnosis codes for these patients upon their next note. Once you make the change, TherapyNotes will use the new diagnostic codes thereafter.
