What’s New: Messaging Glow Up and Workflow Improvements

We’ve introduced a redesigned Secure Messaging experience along with additional updates to help streamline your workflow. These improvements make it easier to manage conversations and organize document requests to spend less time navigating and more time focused on client care. 

 


Secure Messaging Glow Up

The refreshed Secure Messaging experience includes several improvements to help you navigate, organize, and respond more efficiently. Here’s what’s new:

Improved Navigation and Visibility

  • A dedicated left-side inbox panel gives you quick visibility into all conversations at a glance.
  • The Show My/All Patients filter has moved from the Settings page into the left-side inbox panel, making it easier to switch views while working in the inbox. Depending on their assigned roles, users can view messages for only their assigned patients or view scheduling and billing messages for all patients.
  • On smaller screens, actions are consolidated into a streamlined menu in the top right corner for a cleaner layout.

Clearer Organization and Status Indicators

  • Conversations are grouped under headers such as Today, Yesterday, and Last Week to help you prioritize responses.

  • Deleted and archived conversations now include clear icons so their status is easy to identify.

  • Preferred or first names appear in message previews, making it easier to see who is responding.

Multiple Patient TherapyPortal™ Accounts

  • When a client manages messages for multiple patients under a single TherapyPortal account (for example, a parent managing accounts for their children), each patient now appears separately in the left panel, making it easier to track and respond to messages for each individual patient.

Reorder Documents in Share Requests

You can now reorder documents using drag-and-drop functionality to organize them before sending new document requests. Documents will appear to patients in TherapyPortal in the same order you arrange them. Please note, reordering is not available when editing already existing requests.
