Work Schedule Enhancements for Clinicians
We’ve completely rebuilt work schedule settings to give clinicians greater flexibility and control over their availability. These updates are designed to simplify scheduling and improve visibility for both practice staff and patients. Here’s what’s new!
Accepting New Patients Indicator
Clinicians can now indicate whether they are accepting new patients using a setting at the top of the Work Schedule tab, which defaults to Accepting. If a clinician sets this to Not Accepting, their name will:
Appear under a new Not Accepting New Patients section when scheduling a therapy or psychiatry intake
Be hidden in the list of available providers in TherapyPortal when a new client requests an appointment.
Support for Multiple Schedules
Now, multiple schedules with defined start and end dates can be created! This makes it easier to manage varying availability, such as rotating shifts or seasonal hours, without constantly editing a single schedule.
Telehealth Availability Mode
For practices using TherapyNotes Telehealth, clinicians can set one of three appointment mode preferences for each availability block: Telehealth Only, In-Person Only, or Both (default). When scheduling a new appointment, a banner will appear below the location field if it conflicts with the clinician’s selected mode, helping prevent errors, such as booking an in-person session during a telehealth-only time block.
Client Feedback Form
We're excited to introduce the Client Feedback Form, available in the Outcome Measures Library. The Client Feedback Form will allow practices and providers to solicit feedback from clients about the quality of their most recent therapy session. The Client Feedback Form is available in both English and Spanish, and results can be viewed in the client’s chart, printed, or downloaded as a PDF. Please note that, unlike other measures, the results of this form will not appear in the Outcome Measures section of Progress Notes. You may want to send this to your patients after sessions or perhaps set this form to be “Always Available” so patients can complete it at any time.
AQ-10 (Adult) Outcome Measure
The Autism Spectrum Quotient for Adults (AQ-10 Adult) is now part of the Outcome Measures Library. This brief screening tool is designed for adults who may be on the autism spectrum and do not have a learning disability. Like our other outcome measures, it is available in English and Spanish, and can be shared through TherapyPortal or administered by a clinician. Results can be reviewed in the client’s chart, printed, or downloaded as a PDF. Plus, the AQ-10 (Adult) scores will also be displayed on the patient’s Insights tab.
