2018 TherapyNotes™ Year in Review
By TherapyNotes, LLC on January 2, 2019
2018 was yet another year of growth for TherapyNotes™ and leaves us with a lot to look forward to in 2019. We're proud to start the new year with a team over 60 strong, each of whom are dedicated to delivering the best EHR and the best service to our users.
Our team had a busy year, implementing hundreds of software improvements, creating helpful content, and upgrading our infrastructure to support our growing number of users. We were excited to bring many highly-requested features to our users in 2018, including document sharing, e-signatures, and upload capabilities for the client portal; auto-saved note data; two-factor authentication (2FA); and a beta version of real time eligibility. (You can read more about these updates onour blog.) We have even more exciting features and improvements planned for 2019, including integrated intake forms on the client portal, a full release of real time eligibility, and more.
We were pleased to offer a ton of great resources for mental health providers in 2018, including a growing library of helpfulYouTube videos and blog postswith private practice tips and industry news. We became an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP No. 6938) with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) to offerour first free CE course, Digital Ethics. We strive to continue to be a top resource for mental health providers throughout 2019 and aim to offer even more valuable content, including additional CE courses.
Spearheaded by our IT team, we made significant upgrades to our infrastructure in 2018. We moved our servers toa new data centerwith all-new networking equipment, and the team also lead the initiative tomigrate our software to a new database platform, an intensive project that has greatly improved the scalability and performance of TherapyNotes™. We have more initiatives planned for next year to maintain the highest security standards and continue improving the performance of our software.
We're thrilled with what we've accomplished in 2018, and we look forward to continue growing both our team and our software in 2019. Thank you for growing with us through yet another successful year, and thank you for all of the valuable work you do every day. Have a happy new year!
