Maintenance Release 2024.07

As with all maintenance releases, TherapyNotes® 2024.07 includes numerous system-wide improvements, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and usability adjustments. This release also includes additional exciting new features that will be announced and enabled shortly. Below are some noteworthy improvements in today’s release.

Secure Messaging Enhancements

• When changing the audience of a patient messaging thread, we improved the workflow to mark the message as unread upon "Save." For example, if a message was a billing audience but is changed to a clinical audience, billers no longer have access to the message, and clinicians will see the unread thread in their inbox.

• Non-clinical staff will see a new “Notifications” tab that will display patient messaging settings. Appointment reminder notification settings have also been moved to this tab.

Telehealth Updates

• Our telehealth team has improved the use of external cameras and microphones as well as enhancing the handling of switching between these devices and the computer's built-in camera and microphone.
• Copy and paste now works within the telehealth chat functionality, and links to websites are now supported.

Claim & ERA Enrollment Enhancements

• The claim and ERA enrollment status will now better reflect when enrollment is in progress with the display of an hourglass icon. This status indicator will be visible on the payer’s Clearinghouse Services panel as well as on your payer list, once you’ve started enrollment for the payer.
• For claim enrollment, please wait for confirmation of successful enrollment from the payer before submitting your first claim to avoid rejections. Submitting your first claim for a payer with pending enrollment will update the enrollment status to complete with a green checkmark icon.
• For ERA enrollment, when TherapyNotes receives the first ERA from the payer, the enrollment status will be automatically updated to complete with a green checkmark icon.

Notes Enhancements

• The background color of the signature has been visually enhanced for ease of use and to indicate that the action reflects the completion of notes.

• The character limit for interventions on notes has doubled from 256 to 512.
• The date format in note headers has been updated to use the m/d/yyyy format.
