Maintenance Release 2025.10

By TherapyNotes, LLC on December 11, 2025

As with all maintenance releases, TherapyNotes® 2025.10 includes numerous system-wide improvements, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and usability adjustments. This release also includes exciting new features that will be announced and enabled over the next few weeks. In the meantime, here are some noteworthy updates available now.

Telehealth Stability Improvements

We’ve introduced multiple enhancements to strengthen telehealth reliability and usability. Audio recording quality has been improved when using TherapyFuel Scribe in a Safari browser, and overall call audio connections are now more stable. Ending a session is also faster and smoother with the removal of the confirmation popup. Additionally, we've added clearer alerts when your camera isn’t functioning properly, along with a number of minor bug fixes to improve overall performance.

Improved Guest Telehealth Experience

We’ve improved the Telehealth workflow in TherapyPortal™ to make it easier for logged-out users, with or without a TherapyPortal account, to locate their clinician and join a session. Patients and guests can still visit your practice’s Telehealth page to access their clinician’s waiting room, but they can now click into the clinician field and search directly rather than typing a full name manually. This update also includes refinements to keyboard navigation and fixes an issue where clinicians who don’t use online scheduling can now fully utilize the telehealth guest login workflow.

Improved Ordering for TherapyPortal Document Requests

We’ve updated how documents, forms, and outcome measures are ordered when sending Document Requests to a patient. Instead of grouping items by type, they now appear in the exact order you add them to the request, giving you more control over prioritizing what patients should complete first.

On TherapyPortal, paperwork is now organized by request date, with the oldest requests shown first. Within each request, documents appear in the same order chosen by the user when the Document Request was created, providing a clearer, more chronological view of the paperwork patients need to complete. At this time, to reorder items you would need to remove items and re-add them in the order you want. Stay tuned for more enhancements to this workflow.

Clearer Appointment Times in TherapyPortal™ for Arizona Practices

To help avoid scheduling confusion, TherapyPortal now displays appointment times as “MST (ARIZONA)” for practices located in Arizona. This distinction makes it clearer for clients and clinicians in neighboring states that observe regular Mountain Time.
