What's New 4.64: End-of-Year Maintenance with Telehealth Improvements and More

Today’s update is a small end-of-year maintenance update with some improvements and bug fixes. This is expected to be the last update for the year. We are making great progress on some new features to release early 2021!

Here are some of the key items included in this release.

Telehealth

• Text (SMS) reminders now indicate that an appointment is a telehealth session if the “Use TherapyNotes Telehealth” checkbox is selected for the appointment. Example: "Reminder: Telehealth appt with Sigmund Freud, Wed 1/22 11:30AM EDT..." Similar improvements to email reminders will be included in an upcoming release.
• Telehealth video controls now have keyboard shortcuts and tooltips to make telehealth more accessible and easier to use. Point your arrow at any of the buttons to see a description and to learn the keyboard shortcut. For example, you can mute and un-mute your microphone with Alt-M (Windows/Android) or Option-M (Mac/iPad).
• Telehealth participants can now join a session even if they do not have a camera available, as long as they have a microphone.

Billing and Scheduling

• When editing an insurance payment, the list of open items now defaults to 3 months, and the results will be across multiple pages if necessary. Large practices with thousands of items in this list may have experienced performance issues, which these improvements have resolved.
• When viewing the Weekly calendar view for a particular location, work schedule markers are now displayed only for the specified location. This reduces clutter for a large practice with many locations.
