What's New 5.17: Maintenance Release

By TherapyNotes, LLC on September 27, 2023

TherapyNotes 5.17 includes numerous system-wide enhancements including improvements to mobile behavior, and various bug fixes. It also includes many exciting new features that will be announced and enabled over the next few weeks. Below are the note-worthy improvements with today’s release.

Client Insurance Form Processing

To reduce confusion and mistakes, when merging the Client Insurance Form billers will need to explicitly select when they do not want to update the patient’s billing settings with the information provided by the patient. A checkbox, labeled “Mark the form as processed without merging the information” will allow the biller to process the form without updating the information.

Missed Appointment Note Updates

In order to provide more accurate reporting, the Missed Appointment Note will no longer contain the service code. This ensures that when creating a Note Count Report by service code, Missed Appointment Notes are not included.

Submit Electronic Claims Page

We have added a warning dialog for the scenario where users are leaving the Submit Electronic Claims page when they have claims selected that have not been submitted.
