Limit Appointment Requests to Assigned Clinicians

We’re excited to announce the ability to restrict appointment requests in TherapyPortal™ to clients’ assigned clinicians. A new setting, “Allow existing, logged-in clients to schedule only with their assigned clinicians.” is now available on the Client Portal settings page, assuming the “Client Permissions” settings allow for logged in users to request appointments. Please keep in mind that once this feature is enabled, all existing clients will be required to log into their TherapyPortal account to request new appointments.

New Secure Messaging Inbox Views

Your inbox has been enhanced to clearly differentiate between internal messages and patient messages. This improved filtering capability enhances the user experience, making it easier to manage your communications and prioritize your responses effectively.

Clinicians who also have a second role, such as Scheduler or Biller, can customize their inbox on the Secure Messaging settings page. This lets them choose whether to display all patient messages they have access to or just those from their assigned patients. For example, if you’re both a Clinician and a Scheduler, selecting only your assigned patients will completely hide scheduling-related messages for patients not assigned to you, and remove them from your unread message count. This is only recommended if you never intend to interact with these messages.
