An exciting new feature gives billers the ability to generate a receipt after processing a payment in TherapyNotes! When making a payment, or when viewing the payment details, you can click to “Download Receipt”. Once downloaded, they can be printed or mailed, or even uploaded and sent through the client portal. With this addition, patients can download their payment confirmation for credit card payments made on the portal, so they can use this as proof of payment.
The Client Insurance Form has been restructured to allow for the ability for clients to upload a copy of their insurance card via the portal when filling out the document. The capability to upload both the front and back of the card will be optional. If needed multiple policies with multiple images can be added, for example if there is a primary and secondary insurance card. Once completed, this will be saved to the patient's Documents tab for review.
Another improvement with the Client Insurance Form now includes the ability to merge the info on the form into patients' Billing Settings. Billers will be able to easily compare policy information the client has submitted on this form and update billing settings accordingly. You can choose what information will be saved when merging. If the client has submitted the form with images, they will be displayed on this page as well. Once processed, the completed form will also be available to view in the patient's Documents.
