What's New: Secondary Claim Validation & Updated Settings

By TherapyNotes, LLC on March 17, 2026

This release brings improvements to billing and settings in TherapyNotes®. With clearer secondary claim validation and updates to the Settings page, these enhancements help make everyday tasks faster and easier to manage. Here’s what’s new.

Enhanced Secondary Claim Validation

We’ve enhanced secondary claim validation to help you submit claims more accurately and with fewer delays. You’ll now see clearer blocking errors for critical issues, along with more informative warnings to flag important details before submission. Error and warning messages include direct links to the relevant area for review, making it faster and easier to resolve issues. These improvements help you catch problems earlier, reduce secondary claim rejections, and move through your billing workflow with greater confidence.

Updated Settings Experience

The Settings page in TherapyNotes has been refreshed with a new look and feel. The available settings and their high-level categories remain the same, with an updated layout designed to make options easier to scan.

You’ll also see visual badges that indicate which features are enabled for your practice and highlight features that are not currently enabled, making it easier to see what’s active and what’s available at a glance.
