As with all maintenance releases, TherapyNotes® 2025.01 includes numerous system-wide improvements, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and usability adjustments. TherapyNotes 2025.01 also includes additional new features that will be announced and enabled shortly. Below are some noteworthy improvements in today’s release.
Simplified Experience for Merging Client Insurance Forms
We’ve improved the Client Insurance Form to simplify how insurance policies are added to a patient’s Billing Settings. The option “Add New Policy to Billing Settings” now appears below the Release of Information and Benefits Assigned sections and is checked by default. You can uncheck this option if you don’t want the new policy added to the patient’s Billing Settings.
Improved Sidebar Navigation
We’ve updated our new sidebar navigation based on your feedback. Now, the sidebar stays the way you left it, collapsed or expanded, even when you open TherapyNotes in a new tab or start a new session. We’ve added labels to the page icons in the collapsed view for quicker navigation at a glance. Plus, at specific screen sizes, the sidebar automatically minimizes to give you more room to work, helping you stay focused on what matters most.
If you switched back to our classic top navigation style, we encourage you to try the new sidebar navigation! Navigate to Settings > Display Preferences and select “Left Sidebar.”
Spanish Translation for Client Portal Custom Messages
We are continuing to improve the translated experience within the TherapyPortal™! New portal settings have been added to allow Practice Admins to configure Spanish versions of customized messages. When your patients view the portal in Spanish, they will see your customized messages in Spanish if configured. If not set, they will continue seeing your custom text's English version.
