It’s Here! Submit Secondary Claims in TherapyNotes!

We're thrilled to announce Secondary Insurance Electronic Claim Submission is now available for all customers! Seamlessly submit claims to secondary insurance payers within TherapyNotes, saving you time and reducing administrative burdens.

To get started submitting secondary claims, make sure the primary claim for the date of service was submitted electronically through TherapyNotes and an ERA for the primary claim was received and posted. Once these requirements are met, simply click the “Submit Secondary Claims” link on the Billing page to view eligible dates of service with secondary claims ready for submission. Select the “Pending Secondary” status to view the details for the secondary claim, and click “Submit Claim” when you’re ready to send it off to the payer.

Additional enhancements to this feature are underway, including a displayed count of pending secondary claims on the Billing page and the ability to submit secondary claims where the primary claim was submitted outside of TherapyNotes.
