What’s New: Extra Schedule Availability, Enhanced Telehealth Security, & ECR-R Outcome Measure

Add Extra Availability to Your Schedule 

A new appointment type, Extra Availability, has been added to help notate short-term or one-off changes to your typical work schedule. Adding an Extra Availability block to your calendar makes the time available to schedulers and portal users, allowing appointments to be booked within the configured time window. This feature supports both recurring and one-off availability and includes flexible scheduling options such as a setting for every other week. 

Verify Photo before Admitting to Telehealth Session

To improve visibility and security when accepting clients or guests into a TherapyNotes telehealth call, we’ve added an optional feature to capture a photo of participants as they join their clinician’s waiting room. This new functionality allows users to validate the participants and review their surroundings before accepting them into the telehealth session. While the photo capture is enabled by default, you can choose to disable the feature for your practice on the Telehealth settings page.

ECR-R Outcome Measure

We’re happy to announce the release of an outcome measure, the Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised (ECR-R). This outcome measure can be completed by the patient on the portal or be clinician-administered in TherapyNotes and will be available to review in the client’s chart, print, or download as PDFs. As with all our outcome measures, it is available in English and Spanish. The ECR-R is a brief self-assessment tool used to screen across two subscales of attachment: avoidance and anxiety.
