Overhauled HIE Features, Now Supporting Connie in CT
TherapyNotes is expanding its support of Health Information Exchanges with a new integration with Connecticut's Connie, alongside our existing integration with North Carolina's HealthConnex.
As part of this enhancement, we’ve introduced a new Health Information Exchange (HIE) settings page, allowing you to configure your connections.
TherapyNotes will automatically send the required data when relevant notes are signed by a participating clinician. Information is sent only for patients who both reside in the associated state and are assigned to at least one participating payer. You can configure the set of participating clinicians and payers on the settings page for the connection.
For practices in North Carolina with an established HealthConnex connection, your configuration settings have been relocated to the new Health Information Exchange settings page.

DSM-5 Descriptions Back for ‘F' and 'Z’ Codes
In a recent update we introduced the entire ICD-10 code set so that you were not limited to the codes in the DSM-5 when adding diagnoses to a note. However, the official ICD behavioral health descriptions for behavioral health codes left a lot to be desired. We hope that these code descriptions will be improved in future ICD-10 updates. In the meantime, with today’s update we have updated TherapyNote to use DSM descriptions instead of the ICD descriptions for F and Z codes. The remaining ICD codes are still available as well.
Spanish Support for Password Resets in TherapyPortal
We are continuing to improve the translated experience within the TherapyPortal™! Now, when TherapyPortal users toggle from English to Spanish, they will be able to complete a password reset in Spanish.
