New CMS-1500 Form and Other Changes

  • TherapyNotes now supports the new 02/12 CMS-1500 form. If you are using pre-printed red forms be sure to replace them with the new format before making this change in TherapyNotes. Insurance companies were supposed to start accepting the new form starting 1/6/14. They should continue to accept the old format until 4/1/14, after which the old form will no longer be accepted. To start using the new CMS form please make this change in your billing settings.
  • Documents downloaded from TherapyNotes such as patient notes or statements no longer include a TherapyNotes logo at the bottom.
