To-Do Lists for Front Desk Staff

  • To-do lists aren't just for clinicians now! Schedulers and Billers can now see applicable to-do items. For example, a to-do item to collect paperwork for a patient will be seen by schedulers, billers, and will continue to be displayed to any clinicians assigned to that patient. Please note that if someone completes or dismisses a to-do item, it will dismiss it for everyone at the practice.
  • A new to-do item will be generated for patients who are turning 18, or recently turned 18, and have an appointment in the next few days.

New Patient Billing Settings

  • You can specify the end date for the number of appointments a patient's insurance allows per year, instead of TherapyNotes assuming they start over on 12/31.
  • You can specify the referral date and expiration date for a PCP referral. A new to-do item will warn you when this date is going to expire.

Notes Upgrades

  • The Consultation Note has the same diagnosis interface available on the other note templates, and includes the History button feature.
  • While creating a Contact Note, you will be shown a summary of any consents documented for that patient, including the dates they expire.

Languages and International Numbers

  • An international phone number can now be entered in any phone number field. Simply start the number with a + and then type the desired number.
  • A setting was added to specify language preferences for both clinicians and patients. A scheduler will find this information useful. We will be using these fields for future features, so be sure to set these values for your bilingual clinicians. If left blank, English is assumed.
